I’m just thankful that I live only five minutes away from SM Southmall, in case of a zombie outbreak. I can tide myself over some free Panda Milk Tea from Coco until help arrives.

SPOILER ALERT!!

Really cute and charming (especially for a Sandler movie), but after fifty viewings I’m still wondering how Lucy was able to go through that pregnancy without her body going into literal shock every day for nine months. Laki ng problema ko, no?

13 GOING ON 30 (Gary Winick, 2004)

In retrospect, it was actually a bit creepy watching a grown man kiss a teen trapped in a woman’s body.

Still, this was a great showcase for Jennifer Garner. Her performance reminded me so much of Jamie Lee Curtis’ in Freaky Friday and a little bit of Tom Hanks’ in Big. She was incredibly charming here that I wondered why her career as a rom-com leading lady never really took off.

The young Jen was played by Christa B. Allen. Yup, Charlotte Grayson of Revenge. 😳

Loved the Liz Phair song!!

“Why can’t I breathe whenever I think about you
Why can’t I speak whenever I talk about you
It’s inevitable, it’s a fact that we’re gonna get down to it
So tell me
Why can’t I breathe whenever I think about you..”
