MOVIE REVIEW: THE INCREDIBLES 2 (Brad Bird, 2018)

SPOILER ALERT!!

I liked how they switched up the traditional gender norms that had Mr. Incredible acting all Mr. Mom. I just wish they chose a much different (and less predictable) villain, especially considering its take on feminism. Overall, it needed much better pacing, too.

Although I laughed really hard in that diner scene with Violet, it was Jack-Jack who obviously stole the whole movie. I would gladly pay to watch a spin-off with him fighting a raccoon for two hours.

MOVIE REVIEW: TOMORROWLAND (Brad Bird, 2015)

Tomorrowland felt like an extremely long ad for Disneyland. It might have worked better as a Pixar movie (and 30 minutes shorter).

Sure it looked beautiful but what was that all about? The only time I had fun was when Hugh Laurie’s legs got smashed (a wink at House perhaps?).

Kids and adults will agree that this is just one big snoozefest. And I’m already being positive about it.
